At Characters of Character we believe that instilling positive character traits at an early age increases a child's ability to flourish. Characters of Character has created nine characters-each one correlates with a different trait-that allow the children to connect to the character and internalize their message. Our Characters include Behavior Bear, Do'er Duck, Friendship Frog, Healthy Hippo, Manners Monkey, Respectful Rabbit, Responsible Rabbit, Self-Esteem Elephant and Warm-Hearted Walrus.

Introducing Behavior Bear
Characters of Character is proud to introduce our friend Behavior Bear to you!
Joni, Characters of Character NFP, Inc.'s founder and CEO, created Behavior Bear as a way to not only engage the students she was working with in the classroom, but to also provide them a creative outlet. 
Behavior Bear makes it easy for children to relate to, which then allows them to internalize Behavior Bear's message; BEHAVE!
Behavior Bear is a tool that can be used at home, in the classroom, on the school bus, around the community, and everywhere else you may go, to enhance good behavior and encourage children to make better decisions.
If you're an educator, whether it be homeschool teacher or in a classroom full of students, Behavior Bear offers a resource book (available on Amazon) filled with worksheets, templates, suggestions on how to get the most out of your resource book, positive reinforcements, notices home, and more! All of the pages in our resource book are reproducible, too!

Characters of Character has started to develop monthly kits to engage children while building positive character traits. Our first SUPERHERO themed kit is just in time for Superhero September!
Our Superhero Kit can be address directly to the child it is intended for in a festive Superhero Character mailing box featuring all nine of our Characters (Behavior Bear, Do'er Duck, Friendship Frog, Healthy Hippo, Manners Monkey, Respectful Rabbit, Responsible Rabbit, Self-Esteem Elephant, and Warm-Hearted Walrus).
The kit includes:
- 1 letter to the adult explaining who we are and the contents of the kit
- 1 personalized letter to the child to introduce our Characters and express why having good character is a super power!
- 1 felt superhero mask
- 1 mini painting kit (paints, paintbrush, mini canvas, and mini easel are included)
- 1 colored poster featuring all our Characters in superhero costume
- 1 Characters of Character Superhero Activity book
- 1 sticker
